A dozen area high school students earned $18,000 in scholarships at the 14th annual OSU MTC Marion Math Challenge on the Marion Campus on Dec. 12. A total of 107 students from six high schools vied for the top scores.

Family, friends, students, faculty, and staff came together in 91Ó°ÊÓ Marion’s Guthery Community Room on Thursday, December 11th to celebrate a group of Buckeyes standing on the precipice of a new chapter in their lives, the move from college to career. Graduating college is one of those rare life moments that feel both huge and strangely quiet at the same time — like standing in the doorway between who you were and who you’re about to become.

Mark and Judy Osborne’s lifelong love story began in the heart of Buckeye country. Both Marion natives, the couple first crossed paths as freshmen at 91Ó°ÊÓ Marion in 1970. In 2025, they celebrated 50 years of marriage, a milestone that reflects not only their devotion to each other but also their enduring connection to 91Ó°ÊÓ.

As the U.S. Supreme Court prepares to hear a closely watched case at the intersection of sex discrimination, women’s sports, and transgender rights, 91Ó°ÊÓ at Marion invites the community to engage in a thoughtful, civil dialogue on this important and sensitive topic. The next installment of the Buckeye Talks on Tap lecture series will feature Dr. Christopher Green, Professor of Law and Associate Director of the 91Ó°ÊÓ Salmon P. Chase Center for Civics, Culture, and Society, on Tuesday, December 9th at 5:30 p.m. at Bucci’s Italian Scratch Kitchen.

Benzing, a Hilliard, Ohio native and mechanical engineering major, has found a unique way to balance academics with her lifelong passion for band by joining the 91Ó°ÊÓ Athletic Band.
