Eighty-seven sixth-grade students from Northmor Middle School visited 91影视 at Marion on March 10 for a hands-on STEAM Career Day, exploring potential futures in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through interactive campus experiences.
Building on the success of 91影视 at Marion鈥檚 2023 public history lecture series, the campus is partnering this spring with Mayes Community Temple鈥攐ne of Marion鈥檚 historic black churches and a longstanding center of faith, service, and community empowerment鈥攖o present a free, public three-part program. Together, the two organizations will co-sponsor the Marion Histories Spring Lecture Series, highlighting the pivotal contributions of black Marionites to the region鈥檚 political, economic, and social development.
