Biomedical Sciences
Warwick Biomedical Sciences is a vibrant, inclusive community driving world-class research, training, and education. Supported by expert professional services, technical and Health & Safety teams across Gibbet Hill and UHCW, we thrive on collaboration and innovation.
Our researchers tackle a range of complex scientific challenges. Our work includes uncovering the cellular errors linked to cancer and developmental syndromes, exploring cellular 'railway networks' and investigating the role of cell components in genetic and infectious diseases. In Women鈥檚 Health, we are leading the first Phase 1 trial of a macrophage-targeted therapy for endometriosis and pioneering personalised treatments for recurrent pregnancy loss.
